Olivia Meta
RMT, Clinic Owner
Olivia is an experienced Registered Massage Therapist, with over ten years in practice. Focusing in Lymphedema and swelling management, she holds certification from the Dr. Vodder School. Olivia offers treatments such as Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Myofascial Release, and joint mobilization, helping clients of all ages with pain relief, injury recovery, and chronic conditions. Passionate about education, she also mentors aspiring massage therapists and is excited to bring her vision of a wellness center to life.

Jasmine Kennedy
RMT, Doterra Wellness Advocate
Jasmine, a Registered Massage Therapist since 2014, brings her expertise to Huron County, where she creates a welcoming and client-focused environment. Focusing in chronic pain, injury recovery, headaches, and post-surgical rehabilitation, she also offers prenatal massage and enjoys working with expectant mothers. Jasmine is excited to embark on the next chapter of her career and looks forward to welcoming clients to the wellness center.

Valentina Platonova
RMT
Valentina, a graduate of Sutherland-Chan School in Toronto, brings nearly 26 years of RMT experience to our wellness center. Her expertise spans various settings, where she has effectively supported clients in recovery from physical and emotional trauma and helped manage degenerative conditions.
Driven by a passion for the body-mind connection and natural healing, Valentina offers personalized treatment plans with services ranging from relaxation massage to targeted therapies like pregnancy massage, trigger point, and fascia release for cervical and lower back issues. Each session is crafted to help clients feel their best, one massage at a time.

Adam Hortian
RMT
Adam has spent the past 8 years as a Registered Massage Therapist with the Waterloo Sports Medicine Centre. During this timeframe he also worked as a Teacher and Outreach Coordinator at Trios College. He enjoyed teaching Kinesiology, Pathophysiology, as well as Clinical Assessments.
Prior to becoming a Registered Massage Therapist Adam attended Iona University in New York as well as the University of South Florida pursuing a Masters Degree in Education. Adam received a full scholarship to compete in the NCAA in both Track & Field and Cross Country. A highlight of his running career in college was helping his team earn a 3rd place finish at the NCAA Division 1 Cross Country Championships. Adam also earned Deans List Honours Academically.
Adam continues to pursue his long distance running ambitions having earned a sponsorship from Saucony and then Skechers Performance. A highlight of Adam’s post collegiate accomplishments include having earned the silver medal at the Olympic Trials/Canadian Track & Field Championships at the 10000m distance and representing Canada at the World Cross Country Championships as well as the Ekiden Relays in Japan.
As an RMT, Adam utilizes techniques including myofascial trigger point release, facilitated stretching, and Swedish massage. He also obtained additional certification in Cupping Therapy, Cervical Joint Mobilizations as well as Indian Head Massage. As a Certified Running Coach, Adam also enjoys creating individualized training plans for runners of varying ages and abilities to help them achieve their personal running goals ranging from learn to run to competing at World Major Marathons.

Stephaney Hortian
BA, RMT
While attending the University of Windsor, Stephaney competed on the Track team in the 1500m and 3000m events, as well as cross country. After Graduating from University, Stephaney continued to compete as a sponsored long distance runner with Skechers Performance. Stephaney continues to compete on the roads in distances ranging between 5km-marathon with career highlights that include a 5k personal best of 17:11 and 35:57 for 10k.
Stephaney is a Registered Massage Therapist with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. She graduated with Honours from Westervelt College in Kitchener. Stephaney enjoys treating different pathologies related to activities of daily living and sports related injuries through various massage techniques including General Swedish Massage, trigger point therapy, fascial techniques and stretching. Stephaney is a Certified Running Coach through the NCCP and coaches with FastisFun Personal Coaching.
Additional hobbies include; figure skating, spending time with family, and traveling.

Lina Mockus
Naturopathic Doctor
Dr. Lina Mockus, a dedicated Ontario-based naturopathic doctor, provides both telemedicine services and in-office acupuncture at Maitland Valley Wellness. Her mission is to empower individuals and families to live healthier lives and enjoy more time doing what they love.
Dr. Mockus is passionate about how simple dietary and lifestyle changes can significantly enhance well-being. She believes in reducing prescription dependency and addressing aging-related concerns through proactive care.

Jaleena Goldsworthy
RSW, Holistic Councellor
With over 12 years in social work, she is dedicated to supporting individuals and families facing mental health and addiction challenges. Since earning her Honours Bachelor of Social Work from Kings University College in 2013, she has worked alongside children and families on their unique journeys.
A lifelong learner, she continually expands her skills with ongoing training, including certification as a Holistic Nutrition Coach, a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training graduate, and 60-hour Somatic EMDR training, which fuels her passion for holistic healing.
With lived experience in trauma, she brings a compassionate perspective to the therapeutic process. In her free time, she enjoys nature, dancing, research, and time with family and friends.
She looks forward to connecting and supporting clients on their path to healing.

Katelyn Love - Dejong
RN, Vitamin Infusion & Injections
Katelyn is a Registered Nurse with over 10 years of experience, having worked in both inpatient oncology in Kitchener and outpatient chemo/medical care in Stratford. Based in Huron County with her husband, two children, and their dog, she is passionate about wellness and preventative health and looks forward to helping clients achieve their health goals

Colleen Padfield
Clinic Administrator
Colleen plays a key role at Maitland Valley Wellness, finding fulfillment in the organizational and administrative aspects of her work. She enjoys meeting new people and helping create a warm, welcoming environment. With a background in social services and administration, Colleen holds a degree, diploma, and recently completed a business administration certificate. She is passionate about the mind-body connection and believes in the power of collaboration and holistic approaches to wellness.
